Going on a weight loss or a weight gain program is sometimes comparatively easier than the maintenance program. You generally know what has to be done, you have the plan and you just need to follow it meticulously for a given amount of time till you reach your goal.
If you are really determined, you reach your goals faster. Once the ‘diet’ is over and you have reached your goal, you breathe a sigh of relief, thinking that now you can go back to normal.
